  8. we operated 24hrs for about 14 days in November last year but the staff ended up like walking zombies due to lack of good sleep, we were understaffed then so we put the plan on hold first until we get sufficient staff. We are trying our best to improve the delivery time. TQ

Agreed that most of the food esp most Asian's cuisines are oily and high in cholesterol, we take note on your suggestion but we will be introducing some seafood dishes that does not use oil at all, everything comes natural and also tasty! Besides food intake spend some time at the gym to burn the excess calories.

Your ex-delivery boy is running Hello Cyber why is he selling some of the food in your menu, at one time we still thought that it is Snackhaus's second outlet but their food and service are lousy and not like Snackhaus. As their neighbor, they're also a filthy lot and got themselves drunk on most nights. Are they even Halal in the first place?

Honestly we do not really have knowledge and interfere in whatever they are doing, well the boy did learned some recipes while working for us namely black pepper beef & chicken, all the fried rice, spring rolls,fried chicken, garlic sauce etc but whether its exactly the same we are not sure. They are of cause a group of foreigners and non-muslims and whether they are halal or not its not for us to determine.tq.

    I am a long time customer, I just wanted to say that almost all delivery services in cyberia have been blacklisted by me for some unfortunate "discovery", except for snackhaus I still order.

    I used to order daniels salad, but recently one didn't seem that "fresh".

    Please put a timer, if the salad in the fridge is not sold within, say, 36hours from the time its made then its no good for sale anymore. This is to keep it always fresh.

    I only say this because I want to keep ordering it.

  31. Hi, I ordered the spaghetti but the sauce/gravy looked dark brownish (almost black) and tasted like it was overcooked. usually its not like that. please be careful when cook next time coz I usually order the spaghetti.

  32. I'm an old customer, your service is good.
    But please be more careful on the order, not to mix them up. If it's just a simple mix up, it still tolerable, usually I will just accept it cause I'm hungry.
    But it can lead to a serious case. For ex, I ordered beef, but what's came was crab. I'm allergic to seafood, luckily i recognized it. I'm afraid someone else might experience this. Allergic can lead to a more serious case.
    So, better be more careful next time.

    Let me take this chance to also say this kind of food is very good for a snack Its light non-oily and healthy. I would certainly be very happy to see more items like this introduced

    Fresh salads or Fresh boiled vegetables with mild seasoning.. yummy and healthy.

    if price was around 5 or so would be terrific (I see myself ordering a pack semi-daily!)

Well Aliff, we have about 11 staff altogether and on average we would grossed about 160 to 200 orders p/day and we would normally gets higher than usual when it rains (Thank God) or during live football season. The business is still going good as we already have a customer base here due to our long existence (Into 5th yr now)however there are also many new eateries especially around Domain and the Petronas area so it involves a lot of hard work to remain competitive and to stay relevant,cannot be complacent or we can be wiped out too.     you guys make an effort about it

    1)bring change
    2)if customer requests to call their phone and not ring the bell late at night,please make sure delivery guy does that
    3)ensure that meat is cooked well especially beef as its sometimes like rubber
    4)find new sources to reduce your cost so cheaper price can be passed down to customers which inevitably would lead to a bigger customer base(your food is good but many people i know are reluctant to order coz pricey)

    have been a loyal customer for many years,hope my opinions are accepted positively,thanx guys

  55. I'am sceptical of all food delivery services until a friend of mine suggested SnackHaus.

    Frankly, food is above par, I have tried two type of food off the menu and keen to try even more. The delivery is as promised ( they mentioned 30mins ~ 40mins, meal arrives along the waiting time approximation, helps with time planning without fear the food arrives too early or the delivery boy went off when im unable to get the door)

    Sorry for this late reply mate, since it is constructive I may well take a slightly longer time to response as whatever I say may have negative repercussions especially when it involves pricing.

    Well, the first three comments are clear and fully understood and will be followed through except that the quality of the beef depends much on the one available in the market. We are using the "Silver Side" frozen meat which are imported mainly from Australia, New Zealand, India and Bangladesh and so the quality of this meat varies and are consistently inconsistent, we are at the receiving end actually but most often than not the meat purchased are tender and sometimes it may not. We are however trying to make it as tender as possible when cooking it.

    Yes, the price of some of our food are comparatively higher (marginally) than the average market price but it also come with good taste. Good taste largely due to the type and quality of the ingredients used and naturally quality ingredients cost more. We never use natural salt in most of the dishes especially our fried rice, we used a combinations of ingredients, so that gives the distinct taste that cannot be found at other eateries-it's a family recipe. We actually does our purchasing at the wholesale market (lowest in price) but some are done at hypermarkets as whole sellers could not sometimes customize to our needs and the price at retailers are naturally higher. We could not achieved economies-of-scale to get big discounts for bulks purchases as we are small.

    The price of raw materials, packaging and ingredients had escalated over the years and never comes down and so is our fixed overheads that keeps rising, rental which was at 1,000.00 in 2007 is now at 2,000.00 (up 100%) , salaries of delivery boys that was 900.00 in 2007 is now 1,300.00 etc etc.

    So our price indicates not just the quality of taste but also the quality of service, we got to or we will fail in both and eventually fail in the business. It's survival mate.

    For your information we have been working to make our pricing more competitive by offering some discounts (marginally) by Packaging OR Combo (combination of orders) for some popular food and will make the announcement when it is being finalized.

    I've been meaning to ask since before Ramadhan, but never have thought to contact though here. But anyhow, I love dessert, sometimes I just feel like ordering desserts and get them delivered-- I'm wondering if it is possible to have ABC in the menu? & just so you know, I love your caramel pudding the latest batch just after Hari Raya.. it was so goood! the portion and the taste was better than during ramadhan or before. Not that I'm saying it was n't good. Maybe because I'm a sweet tooth and I like it better when it's sweeter. I'm thinking of suggesting of ABC pudding? or maybe cendol pudding? I imagine the taste is the same and sweet as caramel pudding, but if there's cendol in it, I think it'll be the other version that isn't plain.

    But on top of all, I love all the food in the menu here. I remember once, when I was still new here in Malaysia, my sister ordered the chicken spring rolls -- for that first few months I got myself addicted to it! & also my first attempt with lemak kuning chicken was really good it's as perfect as it suppose to be :)

  81. Ordered Special Fried Rice (Non Spicy). Food was great unfortunately it was SPICY. It was really hard for me to eat as I can't take spicy food. Otherwise all was good. Maybe I can suggest that reduce the frozen peas and maybe substitute with some other vegies like beans.

  84. Just my opinion that can you add more dishes like:

    +noodles variety like kue tiow, curry noodle and other kine of noodles.
    +sweets (maybe ladu, puding or anything easy for you to make)
    +kuih-muih (like keropok lekor, goreng pisang, karipap, murtabak, pau or other)

    Sneakhaus has been my first choice for deliver food..if got some new or changes, it will be awesome :D

  86. Hi! I've only known of your place this year, despite living in Cyberjaya for the past 3 years. Started ordering because there's not much of a variety where I live, and thankfully your service has always been timely, plus the SMS replies are wonderful indicators of your service. I love that your food seems much healthier and tastes different compared to those I've ordered from before- less oil and salt, and the drinks they are much less sweet (although this takes some getting used to). Needless to say I've been a satisfied customer and because of this, I would vary my orders just to try out your different types of food.

    Today, I ordered beef steak... and when it arrived I was sorely disappointed. It seems that upon arrival, my food looks as if it's been at rough seas. Now while that isn't really a wonder since delivering food can get pretty rough, what DID bother me was the state of the food. There were scant pieces of wedges (barely enough for the price, I'm sorry to say- not more than 8 small pieces to be exact), of which one was burnt to coal black and definitely not fit for eating (anyone can notice that). And my 'steak' was cut into pieces- it looked more like something I'd expect to find in a blackpepper beef dish, and not in an order of steak.

    While I appreciate having my steak cut into small pieces the way my Mom used to make while I was small, I'm afraid at this age, when I order steak I expect to be served a slab of meat- Not tiny (despite thoughtfully) cut pieces that look like they've been salvaged from another beef-based dish. I was seriously craving for a good piece of steak and though I know I can't expect premium-quality steak like those found in Tony Roma's or the like, I expected better from Snack Haus, especially since you price yours higher than your level competitors in Cyberjaya. I expected a slab of meat, for starters. Nothing can compare to the feel of driving your fork and knife into a particularly juicy piece of steak. :(

    Luckily, the 'steak' wasn't that bad...

    Also, the packet of chilli sauce that came (probably to accompany the wedges) was particularly pungent- like it's been there for too long and should not be served anymore. In short, it smells like expired chilli sauce.

    Hopefully you take these matters into account the next time you whip up an order, and continue to improve your services. Regardless, I'll keep ordering and hope to see the new menu out soon!

    P.S.: I know it seems impossible, but I really hope there's a reduction in price for some of your more popular dishes now that they have garnered a huge fanbase. They are a bit too pricey for frequent ordering, especially for less well-off students like me. Thanks :)

  92. Last week i ordered Butter chicken and rice for RM 8.50, the butter chicken is super delicious, but then, the portion is really poor. Its just like two spoons for the chicken pieces portion, i mean, its worth for RM 8.50, and im very shocked when i open the food and found that (Im a girl and i dont eat much, but that time i imagine if someone who hungry, loves to eat and found the food like that) Im not going to compared, but other place have a bunch of chicken for RM 6.00, and i dont think its because of chicken quality matters. Just maybe you can put more chicken/any other ingredients as ordered instead of so much rice. Seriously, the portion is getting serious. Its too little.

    I still stick on Snack Haus, my favorite is the crabstick spring rolls :) Thank you for reading my feedback.

Sorry about the price as we are not a QSR (Quick Service Restaurant)like Domino Pizza and the like because their products only need reheating/baked of their ready frozen dough but ours is cooking which is similar to a restaurant so our time taken is inclusive of taking order, preparation/cooking and delivery (depending on distance)so if we can deliver from 30mins to 60mins is quite acceptable we guess.     I've been a loyal customers about half year, recently the service you all gave us is very very bad. Didnt have small change even though I write clearly in the message. Recently, I ordered rice with fried chicken breast, one part from the chicken is RAW. It's just luckily that I dint swallow that. And I thought if "nevermind, maybe it's just careless mistake or what, as long i dint eat it it's okay". I still continue order from you all, the next day I ordered you gave me shitty service again, left behind foods and need to deliver the same order twice... Please value your customers!

  124. Just had your sweet and sour chicken combo. it was delicious.. however, it was disappointing the fact that the amount of chicken was ridiculously little compared to the onions and sauce. I feel a bit ripped off because i even added RM1 for extra chicken. This sadly resulted me into throwing away the leftover rice.. I hope the food portion can be solved as soon as possible. I'm curious about this as i'm a muslim and check your site and judge from your pics i am definitely dont think you are muslim as your face (as in your blog pics) does not resemble any typical malays that i know of and the way your family dressing is not muslim at all. I dont think muslim women wearing short. Somemore why you dont post any passport or anything that prove you are muslim. I take very serious about the foods prepared and i only eat halal food.     1. We are of pure Malaysian Malay origin and born pure Muslims. Malaysia consists of many ethnic groups namely Malay, Chinese & Indians which forms the majority and the minority are the Dayaks, Ibans, Melanaus, Kelabits, Kenyahs, Kiputs, Bajaus, Kadazans etc etc and due to this we have mixed culture and appearance some maybe due to mixed marriages and some maybe not, perhaps the genes which makes them look different. It's very hard to distinguished between a Malay and a Chinese sometimes. You may sometimes see Chinese girls wearing our traditional Malay baju kurung on Fridays especially because they want to respect Friday (the day Muslim men congregate at the mosque to perform Friday prayers)and most people thought they are Malays and vice-versa. Malaysia is also a country that is quite liberal in approach especially when comes to religion because we have to practice tolerance among all races otherwise there will be chaos and unrest. 50 years ago here no one questions anyone about dress, all races were free to wear anything irrespective of their religion but all have been mislead by political parties that imposed new dress order/code to win support from a particular segment of the population and this is a fact that no one can deny, to be in power they need followers and the easiest way is to use religion as their main agenda.

      Anyway we respect your concern as we ourselves would make clarification when faced with similar situation.

  133. Your food is expensive. The amount is little. The worst is, there is no other ingredients. E.g If friend rice, it really is just rice and 1 slice of cucumber. I ordered 5 times, 5 different food, and the prices are higher than other restaurants. This is how I feel about your food basically. I have to be honest. I hope there is adjustment. Thanks

We believe you had ordered from a different restaurant as this is the first time that we have received such complaints, snack haus have been very particular on food contents and types of ingredients used from the day we started business here 7 years ago and it is the very reason that we are still around due to the continued support that we gets from our loyal customers, of course we are not d best but we have at least our own recipe and our own way of managing the delivery business that we started when no one else were doing it in Cyberjaya. Pricing should not be an issue as we are aware of the ridiculous price being charged by many eateries here.

    and even delivery charges are up , so please reduce either 1 of them .

At this point our delivery time is still under review and same goes to some of the prices and delivery charges stated and whatever that we had decided was not just based on spending power of both students and the working population but was largely based on our operating cost/expenses, if you care to and carefully analyze the pricing trends in Cyberjaya ours is categorized in the "average to medium-high" grouping and the advantage is our pricing had been fixed and this may assist you in your monthly budget unlike some eateries that do not have a fixed pricing list and are inconsistent in charging their customers.We however appreciate you for highlighting this issue and noted it.

  144. Since relocating to P3A-01, Shaftsbury Square on March 10th, 2013, our delivery times have taken slightly longer than when we were operating from Cyberia Smarthomes due to the distance. However in order to receive your meals in time we advice advance ordering or dine-in at our place (dining-in will only takes about 10 to 15 minutes for the food to be served as compared to 40 to 45 minutes if the order is be delivered).

The delivery can be slow at times due to several factors including volume of orders received at one particular time, weather conditions, shortage of manpower, mechanical problems etc. We always try our best to improve the speed but sometimes not able to due to the reasons mentioned.     Was hungry like a horse. After almost two hrs waiting, decided to cook. Starts cooking. Then your delivery guy came. -__-

    You need to do something about your delivery time. Most customers don't care about your logistics issues etc. They pay for their food and expect it to be delivered within 1 hr.

    Also you should REALLY review you BEEF STEAK. Either improve it, take it off from your menu or change the name to something else. Felt like a big rip off ! Dry, chewy with little portion of beef. It was all cut to pieces like you take from to-stir-fry-cut beef. Most of the pack weight comes from fries, a fried egg (??),stale-smelling chilli sauce with black pepper sauce that literally taste like cooking sauce.

Please quality control the food before you serve the public, we do not ask for a 5 star standard hotel food. But at least prepare like as if you guys are eating it as well to be fair.   180. hi. i really love the foods that u guys offered. it is really awesome and ive tried half of it already. but just now when i ordered normal beef burger, i was kinda disappointed because it is not like what i expected. yes, in term of taste the burger is a lot better than the other one that i have eaten so far but in term of price, it is quite expensive. for RM5 u get a really plain, normal burger which if u guys buy it at the stall nearby it would only cost around RM2~RM3 and if add another RM 0.50, i can add some egg together with it. i dont know whether there really is other stuff together with the burger or it really is just that plain, simple burger but i feel like ive wasted extra RM2 which i can just use it to add-on for extra rice ( i bought combo 7 with the burger just now ). please reconsider the price that u guys put for normal burger so that people wont feel disappointed when they see the food later on ( only have patty,bun, some vege, mayo and chilli sauce. really a standard normal Ramli burger ). the diff between royal and normal burger in term of price and item included is way too much. i hope u guys will saw and do something about it.

    The burger may look normal as with other burgers but actually there are different sizes and weights of patties. The Ramly burger patties come in 50gm. 60gm and 70gm and the one we use is the 70gm patty and the most expensive among the three. The one being sold at the burger stalls are the 50gm and the 60gm patty at 3.00 to 4.00/pc.Our price may be slightly higher than the stall price due to our higher fixed cost as compared to a one-man operator for the stalls.
